single workshop
A single workshop consists of speeches, videos and activities any length between 1 - 4 hours for your school. We can tailor these to the school curriculum (NCEA, Cambridge, or Years 1 - 13) or what your community group wants, on various topics, including:

COURSE - MULTIPLE WORKSHOPS
A course consists of multiple workshops over time as per your choice. In the past we have run four and five-week series, but we can accomodate to whatever options are best for your school or community group. These can be run on a diverse range of topics tailored to your needs, including to fulfil curriculum standards and assessments.
Here is an excerpt from possible discussion topics in a climate change course:
How the greenhouse effect works, with some basic yet crucial earth science (e.g. understanding the atmosphere, relationship between greenhouse gases, global warming, warmer oceans/rising sea levels and intensified, irregular weather patterns like El Nino)
The leading causes of climate change globally, including: agriculture, transport (including air travel), other industries and waste
New Zealand’s contribution to climate change, and the percentage of emissions each industry contributes
How climate change is disproportionally caused by the powerful and rich, yet affects the poorer and geographically disadvantaged more
Climate refugees currently and in future
What is being done globally to make a difference, by governments, international authorities, businesses, nonprofits, and the public
Various examples of what young people can do, and are doing in New Zealand
